The LOC men's baseball team has arguably been the most improved team in the SIAC and some would even say in the country. 

The Magicians have now won 9 games more than they won last season and still have 9 games remaining. The team is currently 12-14 and are two games behind 4th place in the SIAC standings. This is the first time in over five seasons that Magicians have had double digit wins. 

After inheriting 4-30 team with only 5 remaining scholarship players on the roster, head coach Brian Young got right to work. Prior to the season the Magicians were penciled in by opponents as an automatic win, that tune has now changed with the Magicians picking up wins against several teams in the conference. A combination of stellar team chemistry and amazing individual play, the Magicians have turned things around and seem to have their best days ahead of them. 

The team will return to action April 5th and 6th where they will face off with Spring Hill College.
