Meet Maudanru "Stella" Woodley, a dynamic figure whose journey from record-setting student-athlete to multifaceted leader in college athletics and non-profit sectors is nothing short of inspiring.
Stella made her mark at DePaul University in Chicago, IL, where she excelled both on the basketball court and in the classroom, earning accolades for her athletic prowess and graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree.
With over two decades of experience, Stella has seamlessly navigated between roles, leveraging her passion for sports and her commitment to empowering student-athletes. She has held various administrative positions within the sports and non-profit industries, leaving an indelible impact wherever she goes.
Currently, Stella serves in three pivotal roles at LeMoyne-Owen College. As Athletics Compliance Administrator, she ensures the athletics department meets all NCAA requirements. As Senior Woman Administrator, Stella champions the meaningful representation of women in college sports leadership. And as Athletic Academic Support Specialist, she fosters academic excellence among student-athletes, guiding them towards success both on and off the playing field.
A proud native of Memphis, TN, Stella enjoys time with friends and family and still finds joy in hitting the basketball court whenever she can, a testament to her enduring love for the game.
