Sophomore forward Kamryn Knight was named an Elite 14 Honoree. The Elite 14 award recognized the student-athlete who has reached the pinnacle of competition at the SIAC championship level in his or her sport while also achieving the highest academic standard among his or her peers. 

Knight led her team in rebounds, was 2nd on the team in scoring and had the highest grade point average on the team. She is a junior on the court and will have an opportunity to graduate early next year. "We're extremely proud of what Kamryn was able to accomplish on and off the floor and it's no surprise that she was honored with this award," said head women's basketball coach Antony Partee.
