The Lady Magicians will play Central State University in the second round of the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Tournament on Thursday February 28, 2019. LOC finished third overall in the SIAC and earned a two seed headed into the conference tournament. LeMoyne Owen has beaten CSU twice this season and needs to win a third time to advance to the third round of the tournament, where Lane College awaits.  
Dana Gettis was named to the First Team All-SIAC. Gettis has earned this award for the second straight year. She averaged 19.8 points per game, grabbed 4 rebounds per game and dished out 1 assist on the season. Dana is second in the conference in points (20 ppg), seventh in field goal percentage (46.4%), seventh in free throw percentage (77.5%) and fourth in three-point percentage (37.5%).
