LeMoyne-Owen College Athletics has announced the discontinuation of its Men's Volleyball program, effective immediately.

    The decision follows a comprehensive evaluation of the program, including current participation levels, operational considerations and the long-term strategic direction of the College's athletics department. After careful review, leadership determined that discontinuing the program is necessary to support the sustainability and continued growth of LeMoyne-Owen's intercollegiate athletics.

    While the decision was not made lightly, it reflects the institution's commitment to aligning its athletics programs with the College's broader mission and strategic priorities. By focusing resources on areas that best position the department for long-term success, LeMoyne-Owen College remains dedicated to providing meaningful opportunities and a high-quality experience for its student-athletes.

"We are deeply appreciative of everyone who has contributed to the Men's Volleyball program throughout its history. The student-athletes, coaches, alumni and supporters have represented LOC with tremendous dedication and pride. Their efforts helped establish and grow the program, and their impact will remain a valued part of our athletics' legacy."
