The LOC men's track and field team had one of their best showings of the season this past weekend at the Belhaven Invitational in the great state of Mississippi.
The team had several team members reach personal best and place as high as they have placed during there short LeMoyne-Owen careers. On the women's side freshman jumper
Tajana Sims,won first place in the women's long jump while sophomore Cierra Crusoe finished first in the women's shotput. Sophomore
Jada Joshua also stood out for the Lady Magicians who also placed 2nd in the women's 4x100 relay. This was a huge weekend for the Lady Magicians who plan on using this weekend as fuel to finish strong down th stretch.
The Men's team experienced a ton success this past weekend as well winning first place in the men's 4x100 relay and 4th place in the men's 4x400 relay.
Jacob Coleman had the best individual performance for the Magicians, placing 4th in the men's high jump.
Both teams will return to action next weekend at the University of Alabama-Birmingham.
