Harvey Named 1st Team All-SIAC

The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference announced its 2025 Softball All-SIAC teams and individual honorees on Monday, as voted by the conference's head coaches and sports information directors.

Amongst those selected was sophomore short stop Kelby Harvey who was selected to the first team. Harvey is now the first Lady Magician to be selected to the first team in over 30 years. The sophomore has made a name for herself by making spectacular plays and being someone the team can depend on each night. Harvey tallied a total of 28 hits and was a dual threat, providing the Lady Magicians with pitching when needed. "This program is really growing, it's great to see them have both team success and individual success", said LOC athletics director William Anderson.

The SIAC includes 15 member institutions (Albany State University, Allen University, Benedict College, Central State University, Clark Atlanta University, Edward Waters University, Fort Valley State University, Kentucky State University, Lane College, LeMoyne-Owen College, Miles College, Morehouse College, Savannah State University, Spring Hill College, and Tuskegee University), which are located within a contiguous seven-state footprint (Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Kentucky, South Carolina, Tennessee and Ohio).
