Over the course of the last three seasons the Lady Magicians softball team has improved each year. Those improvements don't always show up in the stats sheet. However in their three game home series versus Kentucky State, their stellar play earned them a win in the win column. In the teams first few games they played some of the best play they have played, but they came up just short of victory.

The Lady Magicians defeated the Lady Thororbreads 9-8 in a game that would require extra innings. The first contest between the two teams required extra innings as well, the Lafdy Magicians just couldn't quite reel in the victory. The ladies are now 1-4 on the season and extremely optimistic about where the program is. The team is on pace to win more games this season than they did last season and are focused on qualifying for the SIAC tournament for the first time in years. 

The Lady Magicians will return to action Saturday March 11th for the SIAC Crossover. The team has games scheduled versus Albany State, Savannah State, Allen, Benedict and Clark Atlanta, Edward Waters, and Fort Valley State. The games will be played in Hoover Alabama.
