The LOC Women's softball team went head to head with Oakwood University losing both games of the double-header. 

The Lady Magicians are now 0-22 on the season and have just three games remaining to snag that first win of the season. The team was defeated 15-1 in game one and 8-4 in game two. Despite the teams record they have improved drastically over the course of the season. 

More than half of the teams roster are new to the game of softball, definitely at the collegiate level. The Lady Magicians have just two seniors this season, Philencia Moody and N'Kechinyere Egbe. Head coach Tiara Hall is in her first year as head coach after taking over mid-way through the 2022-2023 school year. "Tiara has done a really good job and I'm looking forward to watching her growth as a coach", said Athletics Director William Anderson.

Next up the Lady Magicians will host Miles College in a three game home series starting August 22nd home at Gameday Field.
