The LOC women's basketball team has had its share of ups and down this season and are currently 9-15 on the season. 

The team has had picked up several key wins this season but has struggled to overcome poor shooting, and have had several ball games that game down to the last possession. 

Prior to the teams latest two losses, they were riding a two game win streak with wins over Kentucky State and Spring Hill College. In those wins Sophomore forward Kamryn Knight averaged 17 points in 10 rebounds. 

Last night the team loss 79-65 at home to Central State University in what was the second meeting between the teams this season.

The Lady Magicians kept the game close for the night, but eventually the Lady Marauders would pull away. Three members of the team scored in double figures led by Sophomore Kamryn Knight who scored 17 points and pulled down 5 rebounds. Also in double figures for the Lady Magicians were Jess Myers and Heaven Thompson who both scored 10 points on the evening. 

The team will finish off their season with a three game road trip which includes contest at Lane College, Miles College and Clark-Atlanta University. The Lady Magicians will travel to Lane College on Saturday February 11th for a 5:30PM shown down with their conference rival.
