Box Score Memphis, TN.... The Lady Magicians went into overtime with Savannah State University. This is the first meeting with SSU under the Coach Partee era LOC struggled offensively shooting 24% from the field and 12% from beyond the arc. However, LeMoyne Owen won the free throw battle, had less turnovers and out rebounded SSU. The Lady Magicians trailed by four at halftime 27-23. A strong defensive effort helped the Lady Magicians send the game into overtime. After struggling to shoot all night, LOC had their second best scoring output for a quarter. LOC outscored SSU 15-9 in overtime. Gabbie Morgan struggled all night but made two huge threes in overtime. Sentreal Gregory loosened up the rim with a three to start overtime. The Lady Magicians are now on a 3 game winning streak. Their overall record is now 4-4, and 1-2 in the SIAC.
