Box Score Jackson Mississippi..... The Lady Magicians beat the Lady Bulldogs of Tougaloo College with some timely free throws down the stretch. Tougaloo College went into the halftime break winning 28 to 27. LeMoyne Owen scored twenty points in the third quarter, which gave LOC a 47 to 45 lead going into the fourth quarter. The Lady Magicians had a six point lead with a minute left to go in the game. The Lady Bulldogs scored a three and a mid-range jump shot to cut the lead down to one point with seconds left to go in the game. A free throw by Glenda Garner, and a free throw by Heaven Thompson was followed up by a five second call on the Lady Bulldogs. The Lady Magicians went on to win the game 67 to 64.
