LeMoyne-Owen men's basketball kept the momentum rolling at Bruce Hall/Johnson Gymnasium, cruising past Kentucky State 80–65 to secure their second straight SIAC victory. From the opening tip, the Magicians played with confidence and control, setting the tempo with efficient shooting and relentless energy.
LaCurtis Dunn Jr. led the charge with 16 points and seven rebounds, knocking down shots from deep and making his presence felt on both ends of the floor. LaDricus Pittman added 13 points and steady playmaking, keeping the offense flowing as LeMoyne-Owen built and protected its lead throughout the night.
Depth once again proved to be the difference, as the Magicians' bench erupted for 37 points, showcasing the team's balance during this back-to-back stretch. Andre Walker II delivered 11 points and ice-cold composure at the free-throw line, while Omari Watters was perfect from the field, scoring nine points and battling on the boards.
Joshua Whitehurst provided timely perimeter shooting, and Marial Malek anchored the paint with a team-high nine rebounds. Shooting 50 percent from the floor and nearly 39 percent from beyond the arc, LeMoyne-Owen continued to build momentum, turning consecutive wins into a statement of confidence and consistency.
