Magicians Lose Heart Breaker On The Road At Clark

The LeMoyne-Owen College men's basketball team loss 63-62, on the road at Clark Atlanta dropping them to 1-3 on the season. In two of the teams three losses this season the game has been decided in the last five seconds of play. Just over a week ago in the season opener the Magicians loss 60-57 to Delta State, after leading the ball game by two points with just five seconds remaining. This time around the Magicians would go back and fourth all the way til the final buzzer after a missed game winning attempt by LOC point guard Ladricus Pittman.

After Tuesday's loss the Magicians are now 1-2 in SIAC play. Despite the late game losses the team has played really well this season and have lots to build on. "These guys are really fun to watch and i'm excited for the rest of the season", said interim AD Reginald Morris. The Magicians were led in scoring by Ladricus Pitmann who scored a season high 21 points and dished out 3 assist to go along with 3 steals. Also in double figures was freshman guard Desmond Bratcher who provided 17 points on 6-12 shooting. 

The Magicians will return to action  December 4th, on the road at Benedict College.
