The LOC men's basketball team was defeated 70-52 on the road at Savannah State University.
This latest loss drops the Magicians to 1-9 on the season. The team has had several games decided in the last couple of minutes and just hasn't been able to get over the hump. The last time the Magicians played at Savannah State was in last season conference tournament where they were eliminated in the quarter finals to the Benedict Tigers.
The Magicians 52 points was its lowest point total of the season, the team had three players in double figures and were led in scoring by senior forward Richard Lowe who scored 15 points and grabbed 12 rebounds. Also in double figures for the Magicians were forwards Khalil Genwright (13) and Micah Evans.
The Magicians will return to action this Thursday at on the road at. The game is scheduled for 7:30pm.
