The Magicians are now losers of back to back games after their 62-79 loss to Edward Waters.
For the first few minutes of the game the two teams would trade baskets in a back and fourth high paced game. With about eight minutes remaining in the half, the Magicians would find themselves down 19-10 and would trail 40-26 heading into half time.
The Magicians would trail for the rest of the game and could never get anything going. The team trailed by as many as teeny points at one point. The Magicians shot just %33 percent from the field and %25 percent from the three point range. Edward Waters would go on to shoot better than %50 percent from the field.
The Magicians were led in scoring Sophomore guard Khalil Genwright who scored 18 points to go along with 7 rebounds and 5 assist. Senior Richard Lowe posted another double-double with 15 points and 14 rebounds, while sophomore guard Kyle Houston added 11.
The Magicians will return to action this Thursday at home vs Morehouse College. The game is scheduled for 7:00pm.
