LOC track and field is in their third season and the second season under head coach Terry Rhoades.
Rhodes knew when he took over the program that building the program from scratch would be no easy task. At this point it's bigger than wins and losses and winning tournaments. Building the culture and foundation is what's been key.
The team's roster has fluctuated a lot over the course of the past two years but the team is finally making progress. The two teams have had help from other athletic programs at LOC and have multiple two sport athletes. "That's one of the awesome things about LeMoyne-Owen, that family culture is real", said Coach Rhodes.
Rhodes is feeling optimistic about the rest of the season and is looking forward to hitting the recruiting trail running this off-season.
