The LOC women's basketball team played one of their best games all season last night at home vs Kentucky State in a game where they never trailed. 

The Lady Magicians came out with a tenacious defensive scheme and jumped out to an early double-digit lead at home in front of the home crowd. Head women's basketball coach Antony Partee and his veteran ball club lead by as many as 16 points in the first half and took a 39-28 into half time.

In the third quarter KSU would make adjustments and cut the Lady Magicians lead to just 3 points heading into the fourth and final quarter. In the fourth quarter the team would stay poise and convert on crucial plays in crucial moments to give them a 57-52 lead over the KSU Lady Thorobreds.

Senior guard Sierra Lynch led the Lady Magicians in scoring with 17 points on 4-12 shooting and converted on 7/8 free-throw attempts. Also in double figures for the Lady Magicians was senior forward Kamryn Knight who picked up 10 points and snatched down 12 rebounds.
