Lady Magicians of LeMoyne-Owen college scored a season high 84 points in a 84-55 win last night at Bruce-Johnson Hall.
The team jumped out to 25-11 first quarter lead and would never look back. The Lady Magicians forced 18 turnovers and held CSU to under %40 percent from the field. CSU shot just 2-16 from three point range had just 1 player in double figures.
The Lady Magicians on the other hand where blazing hot and had season highs in assist, field goals made and rebounds. It was also the first time the Lady Magicians have had 5 players in double figures. Senior forward
Kamryn Knight was 7-7 from the field and had a team high 15 points to go along with 4 rebounds. Senior guard
Madison Riley (13), and junior guard Stacia Hamilton (12) were both in double figures and provided the Lady Magicians with instant offense. While forwards
Jaya Hedgepeth and A'niya Boone scored 10 points each.
The two teams will return to action this weekend at Central State as the Magicians will travel to Beavercreek, Ohio for the contest.
