Tuskegee women's basketball extended its current win four games following a 55-46 win over LeMoyne-Owen on Monday evening inside Daniel "Chappie" James Center.
The Lady Magicians started the scoring in the game on the first possession with an easy layup off the tip-off, but Tuskegee (14-6, 11-5 SIAC) took control from that point on, scoring nine straight to gain a 9-2 edge at the 6:20 mark.
At halftime the Lady Magicians trailed 32-20 and would never regain momentum or control of the game. The Lady Magicians are currently in 6th place in the SIAC west standings with just 2 games remaining.
Madison Riley was the lone player in double figures with 14 points to go along with 5 rebounds.
