A back-and-forth contest in the first half turned into a rout in the second half. Both teams swapped the lead six times through two periods and saw the score tied eight times.

The Dragons outscored the Magicians 21-5 in fast break points, taking advantage of most of LeMoyne-Owen's 16 turnovers. Lane once again dominated the paint, outscoring the hosts 30-20 down low.

The Lady Magicians were outscored 61-46 and have now lost their last three meetings against Lane College. Senior guard Sierra Lynch led the Lady Magicians with 22 points and was the teams lone player in double figures.
