Miles College jumped out to an early 15-6 lead on the Magicians in the first several minutes of the game. 

The Magicians however would go on a run of their own and take a 27-21 lead into half time. In the second half the Magicians would go ahead by as many as 14 points before seeing their lead vanish with just seven minutes left in the ball game. The team was outscored by 10 points in the final 3 minutes of the game and loss 72-62. 

To make matters worse the Magicians shot just 1-15 from the 3 point line. Their worst shooting performance of the season. 

The Magicians were led in scoring by Junior guard Tariq shepherd who scored 13 points and made the lone three point field goal for the team.  Also in double figures for the Magicians were Christian Wells (12), Micah Evans, and Chris Peoples who scored 10 points a piece.
