The Magicians entered tonight's game riding a 3 game losing streak after recent losses to Miles College, Edward Waters and Talladega College.
At halftime the Magicians trailed 29-23 and struggled to get things going offensively. Despite struggling offensively, holding Tuskegee under 30 points in the first half was impressive. In the second half the two teams would go back in forth in a game that had 14 lead changes.
The Magicians would have multiple opportunities to take the lead but missed free throws and layups would cost them down the stretch. The team shot 12-18 from the free throw line and connected on just 6-25 three point attempts. Junior guard
Tariq Shepherd was the lone Magician in double figures with just 11 points.
