When the 2021-2022 SIAC Commissioners All-Academic team was released this past Wednesday,LeMoyne-Owen College was well represented.

The Magicians had 18 student athletes named to the team and Athletic Director William Anderson was thrilled. "Seeing all their hard work pay off and the way they are representing our school is awesome, we have some really good student athletes, "said LeMoyne-Owen College Athletic Director  William Anderson.

A record high, 1,474 student-athletes, was named to the 2021-22 SIAC Commissioners All-Academic Team for maintaining at least a 3.0 or better cumulative grade point average throughout the 2021-22 academic year.

Student-athletes with a 3.2 or higher were considered for all-academic team honors. The number of student-athletes selected in each sport is determined by the number of positions usually involved in that sport.
