Box Score LeMoyne-Owen went up against nationally ranked (#25) Morehouse College Thursday night. The Magicians and the Maroon Tigers had a competitive first half as Morehouse led by as much as ten. But LeMoyne refused to go away as they slowly cut into their lead. LOC's Rashawn Ellis knocked down a triple to end the half down one, 33-34.

To start the second half, the Maroon Tigers would show why they are undefeated as they came out strong to maintain the lead. Still fighting, the Magicians cut it to 12 at the 10:05 mark after a monstrous SLAM in traffic by senior Aston Morton. In the end, LOC would come no closer as the Maroon Tigers went on to win, 81-60. Three Magicians finished in double figures, led by Ellis with 18 points. Morton added 12 points and seven rebounds, while Demba Konate was just shy of a double-double with 14 points and nine boards.

The Magicians (4-9, 1-7 SIAC) face the CAU Panthers (13-1, 7-0 SIAC) next. Clark Atlanta defeated Lane College, 81-54. Saturday's tip-off is immediately following the women's game.
