Magicians Rally Not Enough

The Magicians were in action against Tuskegee University January 6th in Tuskegee, AL and came up short 67-77. The Magicians are now 3-8 overall and 3-5
in the SIAC.

The Magicians found themselves with a one point lead at intermission 35-34 thanks to A.J. Nance with 14 first half points and Chicago native Kenyale Evans with 9 points
on 3-3 shooting from the field.

In the second half, the Magicians came out slow letting the Tigers build the lead up to as much as 16 points 61-45. From there, LOC would rally back to cut the lead
down to just 4 points 61-65 at the 2:23 mark behind a pair of free throws made by Nance.  But, the Golden Tigers converted eight consecutive free throws down the
stretch to preserve the double digit win.

For the game, the Magicians were 21-59 (36%) from the field, 4-14 (29%) from the three point line and 21-26 (81%) from the free throw line.

A.J. Nance led the Magicians with a game high 24 points going perfect from the free throw line 16-16. Jerry Hampton added 12 points and 8 rebounds while
Kenyale Evans chipped in with 10 points.

The Magicians will be back in action January 8th against Clark Atlanta University in Atlanta, GA. Game time is 7:30p.m...
