The Magicians were in action against Benedict College December 30th inside of Bruce Hall Gymnasium and came away with the win 59-57.
 
The Magicians were led by A.J. Nance with a game high of 25 points and a team high 9 rebounds. Brandon Hopson was the second leading scorer for LOC with 12 points connecting on three 3 pointers. LOC had at least 8 players to score at least two (2) points or more in the contest. The Magicians only had 9 turnovers while forcing Benedict College into 15. The Magicians also had a season high of 8 steals.
 
For the game LOC shot 22-63 (35%) from the field, 5-16 (31%) from the three point line and 10-18 (56%) from the free throw line.
 
The Magicians will be back in action Saturday January 1st against Claflin College. Game time 7:30 p.m.
