Renee Reed

Renee Reed a native of Covington, TN. Coach Reed attended Covington High School where she was stellar athlete on and off the basketball court. After graduating high school Coach Reed continue her education and basketball career at Southern Illinois University-Carbondale and Robert Morris University-Chicago. Coach Reed graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor's degree in Professional Studies with a concentration in Applied Health Sciences & Magna Cum Laude with a Master's degree in Management with a concentration in Sports Administration, both degrees where obtain from Robert Morris University-Chicago.

Prior to LOC, Coach Reed has multiple years of coaching and playing experience. While pursuing her education and basketball career at Robert Morris University, she served as a Volunteer Assistant Middle School Coach at JW Eater Middle School (Rantoul, IL) and AAU Assistant Coach for the Illinois Wolverines (Chicago, Heights IL). Upon graduating Coach Reed later was selected to be a part of USA National Basketball Tour Team and a Semi Professional Basketball Team for the Illinois Starletz. After her professional career went underway due to multiple injuries, Coach Reed then got back involved into coaching. She went on to serve as an Assistant JV & Varsity Basketball Coach at Urbana High School for one year. The following year she became Head Varsity Basketball Coach at Rantoul High School where she served 3 years. (Rantoul, IL) 

At LOC Coach Reed will be assisting in player development, recruiting, and monitoring academic progress of student athletes.
Coach Reed is very thrilled and humble to be a part of the LOC organization and be back in the state she once called home!
