Jonathon Collins joined the Women's Basketball Staff in 2014. Jonathon is from Arlington, TN which is right on the outskirts of Memphis. In the process of earning a degree from the University of Memphis Jonathon interned as a Compliance Officer Coordinator for The LeMoyne-Owen College. Shortly before his internship was over he was asked to join the Women's basketball team as a Volunteer Assistant. The 2014-2015 season was a huge success. The Lady Magicians had a season record of 19-9 which was a season best over the past 10 years. Coach Collins has been very instrumental in developing players over the past few years. Teresa Mays and Latrice Sears are two players who have made the All-Conference SIAC team. Coach Collins has a big role with the Lady Magicians which involve player development, video coordinator, scouting, recruiting, and academic help to the team. Jonathon graduated from the University of Memphis with a degree in Sports and Leisure Management. Jonathon has great work ethic and a passion to see the next generation do well. We look forward to what he will bring to Women's Basketball and the LOC Family.
