Coach Partee

Antony Partee

Head Coach of the Lady Magicians.  A Chicago, IL, native, Coach Partee is a former athlete who brings more than 10 years of coaching experience to campus.  Prior to joining the LOC family, he served as the assistant women’s basketball coach for 8 years at Robert Morris University in Chicago, IL.   He also served as the coordinator of basketball operations at the University of Illinois at Chicago for three years while working at Robert Morris.  Here at LOC, Coach Partee will work to develop a competitive program by recruiting and retaining student-athletes, supervising and directing coaching staff and monitoring the academic progress of his players.  He also will be responsible for preparing travel plans, processing budget requests and ensuring the program adheres to NCAA Division II and Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference rules and standards.  He also looks forward to engaging in outreach activities that will establish him as a resource to the LeMoyne-Owen community.  Coach Partee earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Benedictine University where he played basketball for two years.  He went on to earn his master’s in Urban Planning and Policy at the University of Illinois at Chicago and is currently working on his doctorate in Higher Education and Organizational Management at Benedictine.   He is elated about relocating to Memphis, his wife Charlene’s hometown, with sons David.and Jonathan.
