After winning consecutive matches vs Kentucky State University and picking up the programs first win in Bruce-Johnson Hall, the LOC men's volleyball team has hit a rough patch. 

The men's volleyball team is currently 2-7 overall and have lost their last four matches. The team has dropped games vs Talladega, Benedict and Central State during that time span. In the most recent loss vs Benedict, the team could never gain any momentum and struggled throughout the match. Despite the loss, the team remains in great spirits and continues to learn through their mistakes. Considering this is the first year for men's volleyball at LeMoyne-Owen, this season has been quite the success. The measure of their success doesn't come from the win and loss columns. "They are doing great, we understand this is a marathon not a sprint", said Magicians athletics director William Anderson. 

The team will take the floor again this weekend when they head to Rolla, Missouri for the Missouri S&T Miner Classic, they will Roosevelt and Rockhurst University.
