The LOC women's  basketball team is now 2-0 versus rival Rust College. The two teams faced off twice this season after the rivalry stalled for three season. 

The game is one that the team has had marked on their calendar since the two teams agreed to play this past summer.  The Lady Magicians picked up their sixth when of the season defeating Rust 52-44 in a hostile road environment. 

Senior guard Kennedy Fuller led the Lady Magicians with 17 points on 6-7 shooting. Fuller was the lone player in double figures. The team shot %44 from the field and connected on 3 point fields goals, while going 7-11 from the free throw line.
