The LOC men's basketball team is currently riding seven game losing streak after back to back losses to SIAC East conference opponents Morehouse and Clark Atlanta.
The Magicians loss the two games by just seven points combined losing 91-86 to Morehouse and 66-64 to Clark Atlanta.
The Magicians are now 0-4 in there last four meetings to Morehouse College. The Magicians have had their fair share of success against Clark Atlanta and are 5-1 in their last 6 meetings vs the Panthers.
Backcourt mates Khalil Genwright and Kyle Houston Combined for 39 points. While forwards Sacko Abdul, Micah, Evans, and Richard Lowe all scored in double figures combining for 31 points in the loss to Morehouse.
If you thought Morehouse was a barn burner then the Clark-Atlanta game was an instant classic. The two teams would go back and forth and trade baskets down to the very last seconds. Clark Atlanta would squeeze out the win after making one more winning ply than the Magicians. Sophomore guard Khalil Genwright scored 15 points to lead all Magician scorers will Micah Evans and Richard Lowe added 10 points each.
The Magicians will return to action on January 2nd, as they head to Fort Valley State to resume the second half of their season.
