The Lady Magicians picked up their first win of 2025 on their way to their first conference victory in a 61-59 win over Fort Valley State. The Lady Magicians have been in their fair share if close games this season and this match up with Fort Valley was no different. The Lady Magicians would take a 38-27 lead into halftime, however the Lady Wildcats of Fort Valley had no more plans of going away. They would outscored the Lady Magicians 32-23 in the second half but would be a basket short as time expired.

The Lady Magicians won the game 61-59 and now have their first win in conference play. Newcomer Alana Whiten led the Lady Magicians in scoring with 17 points to go along with 8 rebounds and 6 assist. 

The team will look for back to back wins this Saturday on the road at Albany State.
