The LOC women's basketball teams season came to an abrupt end in the opening round of the SIAC tournament.

For the third time this season the Lady Magicians went head to head with the Lady Tigers of Benedict College. In the regular season the two teams split with the Lady Magicians winning the most recent game. The team finished the regular season 13-13 improving their win total by 4 games from last season. 

The Lady Magicians had a roller coaster season and battle injuries to key players all season long. At one point the team was 9-5 and in the top three in the SIAC west. Things would change with the season ending injury to guard Gee Gee Hollingsworth-Pugh. The Lady Magicians would find themselves in several barn burners and often times would come up a play or two short. That would be the case in their 54-51 loss to Benedict College. In the final minute of the game they would have multiple opportunities to take the lead but just couldn't get over the hump. On the final possesion of the game the team raced down the court with no timeouts and loss the ball out of bounds as time expired The team ended their season 13-14.
