Lady Magicians Outlast Rust In Nail Biter

The LeMoyne-Owen College vs Rust College rivalry is back after a three year Hiatus. 

The two teams classed for the first time since the 2020-2021 season this past Saturday in Bruce-Johnson Hall. The game didn't disappoint and seen the two teams go back and forth until the fourth quarter. The Lady Magicians outscored Rust 25-10 in the fourth quarter and cruised to a 66-54 victory. 

Junior guard Mariah Curley poured in 22 points to go along with 9 rebounds to lead the Lady Magicians. Newcomers Kennedy Fuller and Keria McGhee scored 10 points each for the team on the way to victory. 

The Lady Magicians will return to action Saturday December 14th at Savannah State.
