The LOC women's basketball has already faced its fair share of adversity in this early season.
For starters they have had to play without their full roster due to pre season injuries. When you combine that with losing their entire starting 5 from last season, it makes since why the team has stumbled out the blocks.
This past weekend the team was defeated 91-56 on the road at Clark Atlanta. The Lady Magicians are now 1-4 and 0-1 in conference play. Despite their 1-4 record the team is still extremely optimistic and excited to be getting into conference play. Senior guard Staisha Hamilton was the lone Lady Magicians in double figures and scored a season high 18 points. Hamilton connected on seven of her twelve shot attempts and was 3 of 6 from 3 point range.
The team will return to action this Tuesday September 26th at Philander Smith. The game is scheduled for 5:30pm
