The LeMoyne-Owen College women's basketball team loss in overtime to Savannah State University by a score of 75-73.
Despite the loss, this is the closest the Lady Magicians have gotten to beat Savannah State who has been one of the top teams in the conference in recent years. It would take overtime and a last second shot as time expired to beat the Lady Magicians.
After taking a 16-11 first quarter lead the Lady Magicians would trail 34-31 at the half. I'm the second half the two teams would trade baskets for the entire half in a game that produced 7 ties and 7 lead changes. Despite outscoring Savannah State 25-18 in the 4th quarter and overtime the team would come up short on the last play of the game.
Senior guard
Madison Riley led the Lady Magicians in scoring with 20 points on 6/23 shooting. Also in double figures for the Lady Magicians was
