The LeMoyne-Owen College men's and women's cross country teams will begin the 2023 season Saturday night in Memphis at the Auto City Twilight Classic. This is their 2nd consecutive year opening the season at the race.

The meet will be held at the Mike Rose Soccer Complex, where the women's 5k will kickoff at 9:20 p.m. and men's team will follow in the four-mile run at 10 p.m.

The course takes multiple loops around the complex, and athletes will finish in the 6000-seat Mike Rose Stadium.

Last season both teams faced their fair share of adversity as fatigue set in on the Lady Magicians and lightning ended the night for the men's team. Both teams are looking forward to opening this season here in Memphis.
