Lady Magicians Fall 55-51 In Opening Round Of SIAC Tourney

The LOC women's basketball team finished their season 9-19 after losing 55-51 in the opening round of the SIAC tournament. 

The Lady Magicians faced off with Fort Valley State for the second time this season after losing the first match-up 54-48 earlier this season on the road at Fort Valley. In both games the Lady Magicians would get off to a hot start and would lead by as many as eight points in the first half. 

The two teams would go back and forth all game with both teams having leads in the fourth quarter. Eventually it would be Fort Valley who would pull away and advance to the second round of the tournament. The Lady Magicians committed 25 turnovers and missed crucial free throws  down the stretch and came up a couple of plays short.
