The LOC baseball team dropped a three game series on the road at Benedict this past weekend and are now 0-6 on the season. Despite being winless the Magicians have been very competitive this season and have led in multiple games but just couldn't quite come away with the victories. 

In the first match of the 3 game series the Magicians were outscored 0-10 and could never quite get their offense going. The team combined for 3 total hits, two of those hits were made by second baseman Gabriel Fuentes. Fuentes was 2/3 at the plate and had it going for the Magicians. The other hit was made by Justin Williams. Pitcher Austin Lampley was on the mound and is now 0-2 on the season. 

In the 2nd game the Magicians jumped out on the Tigers and led 8-1 at one point. Over course of the last two innings the Tigers would rally back and defeat the Magicians 14-11. 

In the third game it was all Benedict who would come away with a 5-19 win, giving them a three game sweep. Next up the Magicians will host Christian Brothers University. The game is scheduled to start at 1:00pm
