The LeMoyne-Owen College men's basketball team is now 16-7 overall and 11-4 in SIAC conference play. The Magicians defeated Kentucky State University 82-76 in route to their fourth consecutive win, which is their longest streak of the season. 

In the teams last four meetings the Magicians are now 4-0 vs Kentucky State. "They are one of the most dangerous teams in the whole conference, this was a big win for our team", said Magicians head coach Bonzi Wells. 

Junior guard Gjerard Wilson was one of three Magicians in double figures and led the team in scoring with 17 points. Also in double figures for the Magicians was Andrew Anderson and Micah Evans, who both scored 12 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. 

With five games remaining the Magicians have matched their win total from last season and are currently tied for 1st place in the SIAC standings.

The team will take the floor again Saturday, November 6th against Spring Hill College. The Game is scheduled for 7:30pm.
