The LOC women's basketball fell at home by a score of 52-43 to Fort Valley State. After heading into halftime with a 21-17 lead, the Lady Magicians would go cold in the third quarter scoring just five points. The team struggled from the field and shot just %36 percent from the field and %16 from 3 point range.
In the second half they were outscored 35-22 and turned the ball over a total of 32 times. This loss snaps a three game win streak for the Lady Magicians who are now 5-3 on the season.
Forwards Kamryn Knight Jaya Hedgepeth led the Lady Magicians in scoring with 11 points while forward Kamryn Knight added 10 points to go along with 8 rebounds.
The Lady Magicians return to action this Monday where the will host Albany State University.
