The LeMoyne-Owen College women's basketball team went 1-1 this past weekend in the SIAC East vs West Challenge in Birmingham, Alabama. 

The Lady Magicians picked up a 57-49 win vs Edward Waters, this victory was the 1st against them since they joined the conference three seasons ago. Newcomer Jade Salters led the Lady Magicians with 19 points and grabbed 12 rebounds in the win while junior guard Stacia Hamilton pitched in with 10 points shooting 3-6 from three point range.

In the second game the Lady Magicians suffered a 1 point loss to Benedict College. Despite the narrow loss the Lady Magicians had three players in double figures led by guards Gemariona Hollingsworth-Pugh and Sierra Lynch who both scored 15 points. Also in double figures was  junior guard Jade Salters.

The Lady Magicians return to action Saturday, November 25th on the road at Allen University.
