Magicians Finish 1-1 In HBCU Challenge

For the second consecutive year the LOC men's basketball team has split 1-1 in the ATL Has Something To Say HBCU Challenge. 

In the first game of the two day showcase the Magicians defeated Livingstone College, Christian Wells led all scorers with 24 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. 

On day two of the tournament the Magicians went head to head with Shaw University for the second consecutive second season. Although the year is different, the result was the same. Shaw defeated the Magicians 74-48 in game where the Magicians could never get it going scoring just 20 points but Eve second half. 

Junior guard Tariq Shepherd was the lone Magician in double figures with 21 points on 8-13 shooting. 

The Magicians will look to bounce back this weekend when they will travel to Allen University November 25th. The game is scheduled for 3:00PM.
