Lady Magicians Win At Spring Hill In Overtime

The LeMoyne-Owen women's basketball team jumped out early on Spring Hill College, and took a 12-12 lead into the second quarter. 

At halftime the score was 24-12 and the Lady Magicians had complete control of the game. In the second half Spring Hill would come out and make a run of their own, outscoring LOC 33-21 in the next two quarters and forcing overtime. 

In overtime the Lady Magicians would make just enough plays to come away with the 57-52 win. Junior guard Sierra Lynch led the team in scoring with 15 points, Also in double figures for the Lady Magicians,  Kike Ojo(14) and Heaven Thompson(13).

The team is now 6-11 on the season and will return to action January 21st at home against Lane College. The game is scheduled for 5:30pm.
