Magicians Cruise To 89-75 Win On The Road At Spring Hill

The LOC men's basketball team wrapped up a 2 game road trip with a 89-75 win at Spring Hill College. 

This is the first team the Magicians have beaten the Badgers in their last three meetings. The last time the Magicians visited Mobile they loss in double-overtime. This time around was a completely different story. The team trailed by as many as five points early in the ball game but would eventually be too much for SHC to handle. 

The Magicians took a 46-34 lead into halftime and would never look back. The second half was much of the same with the Magicians outscoring SHC 43-41 on their way to a 89-75 win. The team had four players in double figures and were lead in scoring by Junior guard Gjerard Wilson. Also in double figures was Will Valsien(15),Tariq Shepherd (13), and Kaeden Lawary. 

The Magicians will take the floor again Thursday Jan.18th at home vs Tougaloo College. The game is scheduled for 7:00pm
