The LeMoyne-Owen women's volleyball team was defeated in four sets yesterday evening on the road at Crowley Ridge. College.

The Lady Magicians won the first set 25-18 and seemed to have all the momentum after the first set. They would go on to lose three consecutive sets, losing the match 1-3. With this loss the team in now 0-5 in non-conference play.

Seniors N'Kechinyere Egbe and Kaylyn Howard led the charge for the team combining for 26 kills. Sophomore Kaylyn Harris dished out 31 assist for the evening. Defensively, sophomore Ashaqway McThomas  was a bright spot for the Lady Magicians and finished the with a match high,19 digs.

The Lady Magicians will take the court again tomorrow at 4:00pm, on the road at East Central University.
