Lady Magicians Finish 14th In Rhodes College Invitational

The LOC women's cross country team completed their 2nd meet under head coach Dr. Rochelle Stevens. The Rhodes College Invitational took place in Memphis, Tennessee and included the Lady Magicians and a list of other college teams from all over.

Exactly two weeks ago the Magicians participated in the Memphis City Auto Twilight Meet. The meet was delayed due to lightning, to go along with lightning, the rain was a constant factor.

This time around  there would be no lightning and the race would be a little longer. Runners were required to run three miles which is just about the same distance the Lady Magicians ran in their September 3rd competition.

Overall the team would finish 14th in the meet. For the second consecutive meet freshman Ajeceia Presswood would the first LeMoyne runner to cross the finish line. Presswood would be followed across the finish line by fellow freshmen Zora Bobo, Lela Singleton, Ti'Yanna Cage and Nyla Walker
Despite their 14th place finish the team made improvements and will look to build on that progress in their upcoming meet September 23 rd at the Topper Trails Classic.
