The LOC women's volleyball team picked up their first win of the season last night at home against Tougaloo College.
Prior to this win the Lady Magicians were on a seven game losing streak. The team could never find their offensive groove prior to last nights win, however that all changed.
The team put together their best three matches of the year and came away with a clean sweep. The Lady Magicians out scored Tougaloo 25-19, 25-18, and 25-18 in the third and final set.
N'Kechinyere Egbe led the team with 7 kills, while sophomore
Kaylyn Harris controlled the game with 14 assists.
Defensively Honesty Cambell led the team with digs with 11, sophomore
Kaylyn Harris also tallied 11 digs.
N'Kechinyere Egbe who led the team in kills also led the team in blocks on the evening.
The team will travel to South Carolina where they will take on Allen University Saturday morning at 9:00 am. The
Lady Magicians will be looking to extend their win streak to two games.
